Joshua Paul Newman (born June 11, 1982) is a former relief pitcher in Major League Baseball. He was a member of the Colorado Rockies and Kansas City Royals in 2007 and 2008.

Newman, a native of Wheelersburg, Ohio, attended Ohio State University and played collegiate summer baseball with the Harwich Mariners of the Cape Cod Baseball League in 2002. The Rockies took him in the 19th round of the 2004 MLB Draft.

On July 10, 2008, the Royals claimed him off waivers from the Rockies. Newman was released by the Royals on May 25, 2009. On June 27, 2009, he was signed by the Camden Riversharks.
